Until you’re ready to explain how a mostly impossible plan or nearly unimplementable system could be made to work for you, you’re not ready to dismiss it out of hand.

What specific barriers lie between you and implementing those? Not general barriers, specific ones with names and numbers.

Even if following the entire plan is literally impossible, how close can you get to it? The right 20% still provides 80% of the benefits.

How would you tweak the system to work for someone in a worse position than you? Write this down and follow it yourself. Demonstrate that it’s possible for them. And for you.
