Look who’s been busy.
The six-tile case design went through a few iterations before its current one. Each iteration brings me closer to a production design, though.
I keep logs of each design choice and print outcome. This gives me a record of what worked, what didn’t, and ideas on how to proceed. I track the number of attempts, which file I printed, the printer settings (e.g. nozzle width), and both whether the print succeeded and whether the resulting print met my needs. With so many numbers to track, these data will make ramping up to production output much more viable.
I prototyped a new item type tonight. Look forward to samples of that in future posts.
