The holiday sales are over. The store shelves overflow with Valentine’s Day gifts. The staff acts on a schedule decided years ago, going through the motions in order to maximize profits. But the world has changed and will continue to change. How will you adapt to it?

In order to change, you must know where you already stand. How will you take stock of your personal life? Your work life? Of every other facet of your experience worth examining, however briefly? (And that’s every single facet.) Which specific books, guide, or meditations? You don’t have to do them all at once or even more than one or two of them but, with enough self-reflection, the attempt itself can provide fundamental insights.
