Weather Report - Part 1

Initial Setup

I’m experimenting with my Raspberry Pi Zero and its Inky pHAT again. This time, I want to make something useful. Given that I go out for a walk every day, despite the cold, a simple weather report would help me prep!

First, I sought out an example script for fetching weather data and found one from Geeks for Geeks. Second, I created an account at OpenWeather and acquired an API key. Third, I ended up spending much more time programming than intended but ended up finishing the prototype! Go me!

Look forward to a more complete write-up in the next post.
