Out-Accurate

Any observation can be precise, be detailed, sound astute, and be entirely wrong.

It doesn’t matter how many sigmas you have if you’re uptime ends up being 09.99999999999% instead of 99.5%.

It doesn’t matter whether it’s an entire book if its underlying assumptions can be disproved with a 280-character tweet.

It doesn’t even matter if a maxim resonates deep in our hearts, confirming all our beliefs about a complex situation, if it skips over essential nuance.

How well do you strike the balance between precision and accuracy in your own work?
