How do you formally shut down a personal project? We’ve all had those projects that we meant or still mean to get back even though, deep down, we know we won’t. But without formal closure our subconscious won’t let them go. What to do? Commit to explicit closure: post on social media, write a journal entry, send an email to collaborators, sell the required parts and tools, or file it all away in a box labeled “Concluded Project.” Whatever feels like closure will suffice. Wrap it up in whatever way works for you. Now you can focus on those projects that do matter the most to you.
